Our very kind neighbor offered to watch C for the night so D and I could get away on a date! This never happens so we planned big. We headed to the Gaylord Palm resort to take in their annual "Ice" display. They have created their own little winter wonderland of two million pounds of hand carved ice sculptures in a building that they keep at a frosty 9 degrees. They give you giant parkas to wear, but boy was it COLD! After the ice show we hit the outdoor (yep outdoor) ice rink. I'm not sure how they do it since it was 73 degrees outside and our highs are much warmer. However they do it, they succeeded in making me feel like I was back home in the frozen tundra! Ahhh I love FL :)
Nice T-stop.....looks like those UND ice skating lessons paid off.
ReplyDeleteAAHHHH...what a cute couple!!! Looks like you guys had a great time on your date! (You know, if I moved into that wonderful house next door, I could pay you guys back for all the times you watched our girls for us...you guys could have a date night each week!)
