A night of trunks, treats, and even a trick

We had a fun Halloween at our church's "trunk or treat" night. Since C was a monkey we decided to jazz up our trunk with some palm trees. It was pretty much an all day craft to put these trees together, but they turned out pretty nice thanks to D. C had a good time hanging out and handing out candy to the kids as they came by. It was a busy night with about 400 kids passing through. Now that is a lot of sugar! We enjoyed hot dogs, a hayride, and good friends. To our surprise our night didn't end with treats though it ended with a big trick. Our house and Dave's work car got toilet papered! We just can't trust our jokester neighbors the K's. The funniest part is that we went over to confront them and while we were in their house our other neighbor saw the damage and since we didn't answer the door he decided to clean it up before we arrived and saw the damage. After he finished cleaning he stopped by the K's to warn them that someone had TPed our house and to keep an eye out for the trouble makers. Little did he know the K's were the trouble makers and we had already seen the damage! We truly have the perfect neighbors when one plays a joke and makes a mess and the other cares enough to clean it up for us. :)
