The first weekend in Oct. I traveled to Dallas, TX with 9 others ladies on my MOPS steering team to the annual international MOPS convention. It was three days of speakers, seminars, music, worship, encouragement, challenge and fun with friends. The fun pretty much started as soon as we started our day of travel. When we got on our connection airplane and rumors started floating around that the band "Third Day" was up in first class. D and I really like this band and have several of their CD's so I was itching to find out if this was true. One of my very gutsy girlfriends eventually strolled up and introduced herself asking the lead singer Mac if he and the band would be willing to take a photo with our group when we arrived at the airport. Mac knew about MOPS and graciously agreed. It was a pretty cool experience.
