new backpack!
First day riding the bus! Not my idea, but it showed up and there was no holding C back. He only has three other little ones in his class on this route with him and they have car seats and a helper. I was so in shock that I had put my baby on a bus that I drove to the school to watch him safely and happily arrive to his classroom. p.s. I don't do that anymore. :) I tried to do the traditional stand in front of the bus pic like my mom used to do with me, but he wouldn't slow down enough. He had to get on that bus!

Here's C with his amazing teacher Mrs. Z. This was meet the teacher day.
It's hard to believe, but C's school days have already begun. C started school just two days before we left for our big vacation. He seems to LOVE it! He qualified for a special class taught by a speech pathologist at a local public elem. school here in town. The class is geared to help him with his speech and lang. skills. He goes from 12-3pm Mon-Fri. Typically C doesn't enjoy separating from me and I anticipated this huge change in his schedule to be rough, but it's been amazingly easy. An answer to many prayers.
