A visit to the Christmas tree farm

C loved to watch us feed the animals and thought it was funny when they would tickle our hands. He got brave and tried it once, but the horse got his hand all muddy and he was done.

first pony ride

We headed to the Christmas tree farm for a little morning of fun. This year C and I talked Daddy into coming along. It was a beautiful crisp morning in the 50's so it was perfect weather for roasting hot dogs on their fire for lunch and getting in the Christmas spirit. We didn't pick out a tree since our fake one is up already, but we did enjoy the wonderful smell in the air from the many trees they had. We jumped on the hayride for a tour, checked out the petting zoo (they had baby mini goats!), went on the reindeer ride shown above, enjoyed kettle corn and hot chocolate, and last but not least Caleb had his first pony ride! :) Can you tell he liked it? He didn't want to go at first, but with some time he changed his mind and loved every minute of it.
