After nearly 4 years of living so close to the Daytona Speedway, we finally made it inside. We have a friend that races with the SCCA and invited us to be his guests. C was very excited yesterday when we told him what we were going to do on Saturday. I think this little adventure brought the movie Cars to life for him. We got to drive right into the center of the gigantic racetrack and C even got to sit in Mr. Derek's super fast red race car.
So glad you guys made it out and had a good time, even though it was soooo hot! Derek loved having you. :)
