I overheard C telling a friend the other day that he wanted a racetrack cake. So I made my first attempt at decorating a cake. Turned out pretty cute. C especially loved that it had m&ms and cookies on it.
C's friend Samuel has this spaceship and C has been talking about it since memorial day. He was thrilled to finally have his very own and has been playing with it nonstop.
We celebrated C's 4th birthday yesterday. We decided to just spend the day together as a family doing what C loves most these days...swimming. We headed back to the water park (we have season passes) and surprised C with a special treat. He got to ride in a go-cart with Daddy for the first time. He LOVED it! Unfortunately the camera battery died. We followed that up with lots of water fun including C's first ride on the big water slide. It took a lot of convincing to get him to try it, but once he did he was hooked! We later celebrated at home with presents and cake. A great day celebrating a great kid.
Happy Birthday, C! We can't believe you are already FOUR!!! That looks like one sweet spaceship - not to mention a pretty sweet lookin' cake, too :) Have a great year being four! New adventures await!
