A day at the museum

On Saturday we finally made a trip into the city! Our library has passes to many museums on Long Island and in NYC that allow us to see the sights for free. We thought the Museum of Natural History would be one of C's favorites on the list so we decided to check it out first. It was huge and I felt like we didn't cover much ground since we took in an Imax movie, the butterfly exhibit, and a planetarium show. We had a great afternoon though and ended our day in the city with Steak Shack burgers and custard on a park bench on a beautiful NYC day. C was a bit disappointed that we didn't ride the subway this time, but he really enjoyed the museum and dinosaurs. We are all looking forward to our next trip when we plan to ride the train into the city!
