We finally made our first trip to the beach in NY! We picked the busiest weekend of the year to check it out, but honestly every day is a busy day on the beach in this neck of the woods. D flies over the beaches all the time and had already prepared me for the masses of people we would be sharing our waves with. He was right. We had a fun afternoon together, but I must admit that more than anything it made me miss my FL beaches. The water here was no 80 degrees like I am used to. Actually none of us were brave enough to go into the water so we will see what the rest of the summer brings.
