There were lots of great views of the city from the top deck. We could even see the statue of liberty and the new freedom tower currently being built at ground zero.

the intrepid served as the primary recovery vessel for NASA in the 1960's. C and I got a taste of what the brave astronauts felt like all cooped up in the Mercury and Gemini II space capsules that the intrepid recovered. This was a definite highlight for C since he wants to be an astronaut when he gets bigger.
