more gingerbread...

C and his amazing teacher. I think he may have a crush. He wrote her a note last week and it simply stated "Mrs. K, I love you. Caleb".

C quickly made his decision that he wanted Miss Carole to build with him at school. Yep, another crush and amazing lady that holds his heart.

C has a best buddy. It's Seamus!

This past week I've been holding my little kindergartner extra close and thanking our Almightly Lord for the blessing of being his Mom. What a gift each day is with him. On that note, he had a fun gingerbread making party at his school and decided he wanted not me, but our dear friend Miss Carole to drop by and help him build. It worked out well since D is out of town all week and I needed to stay home with E while he napped. This was C's 4th gingerbread house making activity of the season. He's getting good people! Beyond the fun of the activity at hand,  this blog post holds some pictures of answered prayer. This time last year D and I were very nervous about how the 2012-13 school year would be for C. He honestly struggled greatly in preschool and we knew we needed our Lord to come through with a pretty amazing teacher and a special friend to stand with C and make school a success and positive experience. God is SO GOOD and perfect in his timing. He has far exceeded what we could hope or imagine for this school year. C is flourishing and we had an amazing conference last week. His reading, writing, and math skills are knocking our socks off and he's working super hard on his behavior in the classroom and coming home every day super proud that he stayed on the green light.
