Jael loved her "Uncle Daddy". I think D felt like he gained a daughter over the trip.
The kids enjoyed a couple of afternoons playing at the community center enjoying rock climbing, racket ball, tennis, swimming (with two water slides), and a playground which caused our family much sorrow, blood, urine, and a trip to the ER. It's a long story. All was well in the end though.
On occasion we sent the kids outside to get some energy out. Uncle Mark was kind enough to build them a nice fire to warm up beside.

Here are some highlight pictures from our big 11 day trip to ND. It was a very full house with 8 adults and 11 kids. It seemed like a lot of energy was expended preparing, serving, and cleaning up after meals to feed so many hungry mouths. In our spare time though we enjoyed each others company and were able to play games, go sledding, watch movies, sing and dance, swim, rock climb, open gifts, play Wii, and enjoy watching the cousins have a ball together (most of the time). Great memories were made and not only did we all survive, but we all had a great time! Thanks Uncle Mark and Aunt Tara for opening up your beautiful home to the madness.
