C LOVED the wave pool and spent the majority of his time playing in the waves! He did ride all of the 6 big water slides at least once, but primarily focused on the pool and hot tub.

The resort had a very fun lodge feel to it. In the evening they held story time for the kids in front of the giant fireplace.

 

We had a "kid kamp" room which meant that C and E had their own little room within our room. C was most excited about having his own TV and remote, although he never really used it.

He did love sleeping on the top bunk.

little E isn't quite walking on his own yet, but he loves walking with some help. He got a kick out of walking when the waves were turned on.

 

 

Our family escaped the island to PA for a couple of nights to a very highly recommended water park resort. We never drive anywhere so a two and half hour drive seemed like a very big deal of a road trip to us. :) It kind of felt like we were in another world when we got into all the wide open spaces and fresh air of the Poconos. It was beautiful, but we spent the majority of our time playing in the water. There is no place happier for Caleb than being at a water park. Words can't describe how pruned up his little fingers and toes were from constantly being in the water. Little E liked it too, but spent much more time in the room napping. It was a great time together as a family and we made some fun memories.
