Taking the plunge !

On June 30th C and I both got baptized!  I chose to be baptized as a teenager in my home church, however, it was not an immersion baptism. At the time I didn't think it really mattered, but as the years have gone by and I've grown in my faith and continued to search the word of God for truth, the Holy Spirit revealed to me that I was to take the step of being baptized through immersion. Then in March C accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior! At this point I had already made the decision to be baptized the next opportunity that I had at our church and so it was such neat timing that C's salvation followed my decision and we could do this together. D and I had many talks with C about baptism and made sure he understood the step he was taking and he went into the day super excited and confident in his choice. We are so proud of Him stepping up to follow Jesus in his life. So many great things are in store for him and all who believe and trust in Jesus!
