Brooklyn botanical garden

I spy the statue of liberty

 love those big brown eyes

We all agreed that the Brooklyn Bridge was our favorite display!

The Brooklyn botanical garden hosts a holiday train show every year. I've had it on my radar the last couple of years and was really hoping for an opportunity to to go, especially since C loves model trains. Well this year was my lucky year because I won 4 tickets through a website I follow! We got in our visit the day before the exhibit ended for the season. It was totally worth the trip, especially for free. They had 21 model trains zipping around 1,200 feet of track. There were tons of replicas of famous NYC landmarks that were all made out of natural materials such as bark, twigs, and stems. Very impressive and fun! I expected C to have a great time, but I think E had just as much fun and totally outdid C in the oooing and ahhhing department. :)
