LEGOLAND

 making new friends

 We enjoyed two different LEGO movies in 4D. E's reaction was so cute as he pointed and reached for things on the screen that appeared to be coming at him.

 C and his D went to see the new LEGO movie right before we left for CA and both loved it. It was such a fun treat to stumble across a building at LEGOLAND that housed the set for the movie! We didn't see Will Ferrell though. :)

If you didn't know, we have a 7 year old who adores LEGOs. He gets the free LEGO magazine in the mail every other month and reads it over and over until it's almost torn. Inside the magazine they always have a coupon for a free kids admission to LEGOLAND and C would always talk about how he wants to go again (we went 2 years ago). It was hard to say no since Mom lives within 10 minutes of the park and it is a super fun park!! We decided to wait until the day before we flew home since it was a Monday and it turned out to be the perfect day! There were really no lines to speak of and we just had a ball enjoying ourselves and the California sunshine. Even little E found a ride he loved.
