Shelburne Farms

one of the fanciest barn setups I've seen

E anticipated this tractor ride all day. When we arrived we made the nearly 1 mile hike to the barn from the welcome center and didn't take the tractor ride until it was time to leave. I think E thought it was worth the wait. He is pretty in love with tractors, especially the green ones.

We visited this 1,400 acre farm right along Lake Champlain for some country fun one day. I quickly realized that E is my country boy and C is my city boy. E got his hands into everything. He milked a cow, bottle fed a baby goat, and picked an egg from a hen's nest! C was mostly unhappy with the heat and bugs. Put C in the heart of Manhattan for an entire day and he never complains! I didn't get very good pictures. I guess there was too much going on to pull my phone out. Aside from all the animals, we also got to see cheese being produced from their dairy cows as well as their bakery where they use their wheat.
