While I was mowing the lawn I happened upon a rather large toad. E was super excited and I could tell he wanted to hold it. He probably would've held it without gloves, but it creeped me out so we got his gloves. :) He proceeded to very proudly "mother" his toad, carrying it around and then letting it hope a bit then quickly snatching it up again. This went on for at least a half hour. Poor toad is probably traumatized. Later that afternoon E got very quiet in the house and I found him sound asleep on the stairs. Oh, I love this little guy! He keeps me smiling all day.
