One thing we love about our home is the amazing trees in our yard. Often times we've hoped one would never fall because they are HUGE. Well, this spring it happened. The ground was very wet and we'd recently had some high winds and down she came. It happened around midnight and woke us up as the house shook. We had no idea what happened until morning. This monster was over 90 feet and thankfully D had some friends with chainsaws who were thrilled to get some free cherry wood. The stump removal was a job for the professionals, however, it was massive. The boys and neighbor kids had SO MUCH FUN climbing and playing on this tree and stump until it was removed. I'm certain they will always remember the big tree. The crash of 2017.
