Graduation

C liked his Daddy's super silly looking agent hat and REALLY liked his cool new badge.

Agent Loyd finally receiving his badge!

Dave received the academic award of excellence and graduated at the top of his class!

The ceremony even included a bag pipe player.

Thursday was a very big and long awaited day in the life of our family. Dave graduated from the federal law enforcement training center (FLETC) in GA and is officially a CBP air interdiction agent! We spent the weekend celebrating together, but since Dave wasn't allowed to come home before his next school, C and I drove up to Charleston, SC with him and enjoyed exploring the area together. It was tough to say goodbye on Sunday, but we are now only 6 weeks away from the new job beginning in NY. There is so much that needs to take place before the move, but we are starting to get a little more excited. Our home here is officially listed for rent so we appreciate your prayers for great renters to come our way.

  2. Congratulations Dave!!! We are so excited for you guys! We can't wait to see what this new adventure brings for your family! BTW...it seems very weird to see Dave in a uniform that doesn't say Army on it...I guess we will have to get used to that...
