With encouragement from both of my Moms, I decided to take the plunge and try my luck at gardening this year. In FL I grew tomatoes and peppers in pots, but was pretty nervous about starting a real garden. Thankfully Mama Sue showed me the ropes and in one afternoon we completed our garden. Hoping for squash, spinach, green onion, beans, carrots, broccoli, tomatoes, and peppers at harvest time! C is pretty excited about our project and helped out with his little gardening tools he got from Mama Sue.

ReplyDeleteI SOOO want to plant a garden!! I have this dream of going out and picking something from the garden and eating it at my next meal...I know where it came from, and I know what was used to grow it...almost sounds like heaven!! : )
