We really REALLY enjoyed our first fall on Long Island. As with winter, we hadn't experienced fall in over 11 years! We didn't realize what a variety of trees surrounded us until they changed colors and our tree canopied neighborhood became spectacular. Along with the good comes the bad though, lots of leaves to clean up. D bought a blower to aide in the cleanup effort since we have a huge yard and some huge trees. This photo was taken after just a few leaves had fallen. I should have taken a picture after they all dropped, but our friend Scott came over with his tractor Murray and miracle leaf collector attachment and polished off our yard within a couple of hours. Just imagine our entire yard looking like the pile in this photo. Let me just say we sure love Scott and his sidekick Murray!
