Mr. C is confident and ready to ride!
a quick selfie before we headed across.
Eeek I was SO EXCITED!
The pedestrian/biker path was at the top of the bridge above all the traffic lanes.

Standing strong since 1883
So we headed across the 1.1 mile bridge and successfully dodged plenty of clueless tourists who were standing around in the biking lane doing everything but watching out for bikers. C really impressed me with his dodging skills and calm demeanor. I on the other hand, was sure I was going to take someone out either by accident or perhaps on purpose. Did I just write that? Anyway, if my bike had a horn, I surely would've been laying on it like a true New Yorker for most of the ride. As hurried and harried as the ride was it was SO FUN and a great memory made with my boy.
