Day 3- Disneyland!!!!!

1st visit!

Just C and I waiting in the 45 min long line just to get through security! I think it's going to be a very crowded day at Disney!

1st ride of the day....Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. A Disneyland classic since opening day in 1955. It's still a winner and one of E's favorite rides of the day. He's into vintage!

The teacups felt much more special here at Disneyland vs Disneyworld. Here they are tucked under this amazing tree. Actually I noticed a lot of amazing trees and really started to appreciate the nature and  quaintness of Disneyland over Disneyworld.
It's a classic, the boys loved it, and yep...it was stuck in our heads ALL DAY!

Although we didn't make it a priority to sign the boys up 1st thing that morning to fight on stage as little Jedi's in training, we did pass by while a show was going on and the boys marveled at Kylo Ren. E was convinced everything he was watching was real. Pretty sure this was one of E's favorite moments of the day!

 Autopia!
C got to cruise in his own car, but found his legs were a bit too short to reach the pedal. He did it though! E let me push the pedal and he steered.

C getting his brave on to go in the Haunted Mansion!
 Splash Mountain Baby!
We did it! I could not leave Disneyland without getting C on Space Mountain. We missed our window of opportunity to get fast passes and with the ride being down several times throughout the day when the ride was open the line was always estimated to be a 2 hour wait! Well, at the end of the day, 30 minutes before close, we decided to just go for it and get in line. We ended up waiting about 45 minutes and were one of the last people to get on the ride for the day and leave the park for that matter. It was a fantastic end to our night of hitting the big rides and having a blast together!

 Goodnight Disneyland!
Thanks for the magic!
Day 3 stated out with a bang waiting in a 45 min long line just to get through security. It was a Tue. after a holiday weekend and so we thought it would be the least crowded day, but it turned out to be the most crowded day!!?! Thankful for fast passes and the phone app which told me wait times.  Surprisingly we navigated our way around rather efficiently and actually got a lot accomplished. I just love Disney so nothing could spoil my day, even waiting in line for 15 minutes just to use the bathroom! Yikes, yep, it was THAT crowded! Around 5pm D came and picked up E and then C and I got to hit the big stuff. We hit Indiana Jones (C's favorite), Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Hyperspace Mountain. Oh, and a quick break for a giant corn dog before we called it a night and left the park a half hour past close time! Success!
